Our standard Data Processing Addendum is offered to every school or district that participates in the Boomerang Classroom private beta and to every customer thereafter. It addresses:
- Roles of the parties under FERPA (school official) and COPPA.
- Categories of data processed and purposes of processing.
- Security measures, encryption, and access controls.
- Subprocessor disclosures and approval process.
- Data return and deletion at end of contract.
- Incident response and notification commitments.
- Compliance with applicable state student-data privacy laws.
